Unless you have trusted referrals or a company that can prove that their services are effective, you should be careful with seo companies as they have been known to charge an unreasonable amount of money with little results.
has an amazing track record for getting 1st page google results. There is no time promise, but their technique has worked for a ton of their clients (listed on their website).
Now is a good time to start learning as much as you can and actually get into the art of seo. Reading as many articles and books on the subject will help you get a grasp on landing your own pages in the major search engines.
